A case of Turner s syndrome in 10-year-old girl with clinical findings of short stature, shot 4th metacarpal bone, widely spaced nipples, and retarded bone age was presented. Comparative studies were made of potassium,sodium and chloride level in the serum and
cerebrospinal fluid in the patients with tuberculous meningitis in chidhood.
The significant serum-cerebrospinal gradient was observed in the potassium level, but not in
the sodium level whereas the normal concentration gradient between serum and cerebrospinal
