A case diffuse scleroderma, a rare collagen disease in childhood, is presented in 2 years and 7
months old Korean female.
Physical examination showed hard skin of face, neck, upper trunk and both upper forearms.
The diagnosis was confirmed by clinical findings and biopsy.
The review of literature was made briefly.

Seventy-five strains of shigella were isolated from 214 specimens feces of suspected patients among
children in Taegu area during the period from July to September 1969.
