Cryptococcal Meningitis (A Case Report)

This paper presents a four-year-and.nine-month old boy, who died of Cryptococcal meningitis. The Indian-ink preparation showed typical budding cells in his spinal fluid (Fig. 1), and the innoculation into a mouse of the patient’s cultured spinal fluid demonstrated the Cryptococcosis in all of the visceral organs, such as heart, brain, meninges, lungs, kidney and lymphnodes (Fig. 2,3).
