A case of a single coronary artery complicated with a coronary artery fistula (CAF) to the right ventricle is extremely rare, and its management strategy and prognosis are not clear. A 5-year-old boy was hospitalized for evaluation of a continuous heart murmur. Transthoracic echocardiography suggested a CAF to the right ventricle, with an enlarged left coronary artery. Cardiac catheterization... |

Cardiac rhabdomyomas are relatively uncommon and associated with tuberous sclerosis in 40-50% cases. We report a 10-month-old infant with tuberous sclerosis who presented with ventricular arrythmias and status epilepticus. There were hypopigmented macules on the body, periventricular calcifications, renal cyst and cardiac rabdomyomas just below the aortic valve. The patient required resection of left ventricular subaortic masses due to sustained... |

Three translation initiation sites are present within this pre-S/S open reading frame, i.e. pre-S1, pre-S2, and S, allowing the expression of large, middle and small HBs proteins. The pre-S1 is thought to carry the receptor binding site for viral entry into hepatocyte... |
