Clinical and serological studies on 59 cases of infantile and childhood Japanese B. encephalitis in Korean

A case of dermatomyositis occurring in a 4 year-old girl is reported. The patient was admitted with chief complaints of progressive weakness of four limbs and erythematous rashes on the face. The diagnosis was made chiefly by typical clinical findings with aid of laboratory data and histopathological findings. Eight patients with tetanus neonatrum were treated with the conventional therapy. In most of the cases
the age of onset was within seven days ranging four days to ten days. Three of the eight patients died
