Abstract
A case of dermatomyositis occurring in a 4 year-old girl is reported. The patient was admitted with chief complaints of progressive weakness of four limbs and erythematous rashes on the face. The diagnosis was made chiefly by typical clinical findings with aid of laboratory data and histopathological findings. The patient well responded to physiotherapy and steroid medication, and was discharged in fine condition one month later.
