Studies on Giardiasis in Korean Children

Of 2477 samples of feces of children under 15 years old examined, 9.9% were positive for the cysts of Giardia Lambria. No remarkable sex difference was noted in the incidence of Giardia Lambria. The most predominant symptom of Giardiasis was abdominal pain, followed by anorexia, fatigability, diarrhea, pale face and headache in this order.
