With the improvement in survival rate in high risk infants in the neonatal intensive care unit, there
is rising concern about the neurologic sequelae in these infants. In order to evaluate the neur-

The narcoleptic syndrome consists of narcolepsy proper, cataplexy, sleep paralysis and hypnagogic
hallucinations. The disease is not common in children.
We experienced a case of narcolepsy in a 7-year old girl. Analeptic drugs are used for treatment.
