The authors experienced three cases of giant hydronephrosis due to congenital obstruction
at the ureteropelvic junction, which were diagnosed by physical examination, ultrasonogram
of the abdomen, intravenous pyelography and percutaneous antegrade pyelography.
We reported here the clinical, laboratory and radiological data of these cases with brief
review of literature.

To evaluate the efficacy of the Transcutaneous Minolta Bilirubinometer in neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, the value of serum bilirubin measured by alkali azo bilirubin method and American optical biliribinometry were compared with the reading of transcutaneous bilirubinometer in 86 fullterm newborns. To evaluate the effect of Epidemic Encephalitis vaccine, the authors compared vaccinated
group with non-vaccinated group at the point of morbidity, sequelae and mortality in Cho-
nnam area, 1982.
551,660 children(43.4%) out of the total 1,270,669 children who aged 3 to 15 year old
were vaccinated, and vaccinated history was confirmed 179 only out of the total 647 Epide-
mic Encephalitis patients.
