Background: Central precocious puberty (CPP) results from premature activation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. Although the standard intravenous gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) stimulation test is often inaccessible, a subcutaneous (SC) GnRH analogue (GnRHa) test is used.
