We have experienced a case of Cornelia de Lange syndrome in a girl of 4.5/12 years old.
She showed typical features of a microbrachycephaly, hirsuitism and characteristic face with bushy eyebrows,
antimongolian slant depressed nasal bridge, thin protruding lips with downtuming of the comers and the microtia.

The study was designed to evaluate the effect of vitamin E on hemolytic anemia of premature
infants. Sixty infants delivered in Cheil Hospital from March 1987 to December 1988 with birth weight
below 2500 gm or gestational age below 37 weeks were studied. Thirty infants received oral vitamin
E 25 IU/day until their birth weight doubled. Thirty infants served as control.

Hermaphroditism implies a discrepancy between the morphology of the gonads and of the external
genitalia.
We report a case of female infant with virilization bom to a mother who also developed signs of
virilization during the pregnancy. Mother was diagnosed having huge, bilateral ovarian Krukenberg
tumors metastsized from the stomach.

We Have experienced a case of Turner’s syndrome with horseshoe kidney, hydronephrosis and
gastrointestinal bleeding in a 5 months old female.
The patient presented with huge palpable abdominal masses, high arched palate, micrognathia and
hypoplasia of finger and toenails. On operation, horseshoe kidney, hydronephrosis and obstruction of

Adenomyomatosis is a hyperplastic condition of the epithelial and muscular elements of the

We reviewed 10 cases of Tuberous sclerosis clinically during the last 2 years from March
1980 to June 1982 and the following conclusion was obtained:
1) The younger children may have cafe au lait spots and depimentation with seizure and
psychomotor retardation as the diagnostic clues, while the older one may have Adenoma sebaceum.
