We experienced one case of hereditiary spherocytosis with aplastic crisis who was 3 year-old
female. On admission, there were pallor and fever. Diagnosis was made by pressence of spherocytes
in peripheral blood smear, osmotic fragility test, and bone marrow examination.
A brief review of related literature was made. |

The authors analyzed the clinical manifestations, laboratory results, and relationship between the
presence of antithyroid autoantibodies and response of short-term antithyroid medication in 20
children with Graves* disease who were diagosed at the Department of Pediatarics, Chungnam
National Universtiy Hospital from March 1985 to February 1990.

A case of Duchenne type of progressive Muscular dystrophy has been experienced in a 8 year old boy. The clinical symptomes were sarted before 6 years old of age and progressed insidiously. The creatine and creatinine ratio was remarkably increased and high titer of SGOT noted. The muscle biopsy findings showed typical, advanced histological changes.
