Conjoined twin is a rare anomaly with an incidence estimated at 1 in 50,000 deliveries and has
extremely variable internal anomalies depending on the extent of the united area.
We observed a case of male conjoined twin joined by thorax and abdomen who has 3 upper & 2

The incidence of twins has difference according to race, maternal age & parity, medication.history
etc, especially in the dizygotic twins. Twins have poorer prognosis than singletons due to high
incidece of prematurity and LBW, respiratory complications, birth trauma, congenital anomaly etc.
Zygosity determination is important and done by placentatal examination, blood typing, physical
similarity, HLA etc.

For review of diagnostic utility and significance of brain CT in children with seizure, we analysed
history, EEG, neurological examination and brain CT of 130 children who had vistied our hospital
from January 1984 to June 1987.
