We experienced a case of Hypereosinophilic syndrome with congestive heart failure in
15 month old girl. The clinical, hematologic and E.C.G. findings were compatible with hype-
reosinophilic syndrome. She was treated with oxygen, digoxine, antibiotics and mebendazole.
But on 8th day of admission she suddenly died.
A brief review of the related literature was made on this subject.

A 10 years old boy was presented with chief complaints of polypnagia, headache, intermittent vomiting and diplopia. Brain CAT revealed pineal tumor and surgical remove of the tumor mass was successfully done,

The clinical records of 28 cases with. Methemoglobinemia who were admitted to the Dept,
of pediatrics, WMBH Busan from January 1978 to December 1981 were reviewed.
The following results were obtained.
1) Incidence of Methemoglobinemia, was 17.8% among the all drug intoxication and seasonal
incidence was peak in spring(50%).
2) The incidence was higher in boys than girls(60.7%), the highest incidence was noted
