Urinary GOT Activity in Children with Acute Glomerulonephritis

It has been shown that in acute glomerulonephritis the GOT activity of urine is elevated. The GOT activity of urine was determined in both normal and acute glomerulonephritis children (by Sigma and Frankel colorimetric method). In 14 normal subject it was 7 unit/dl (5〜9unit/dl) while in acute glomerulonephritis it increased to the value of 15 unit/dl (12~24 unit/dl).
