| Abstract |
|
1.Measurement of urinary hydroxyproline level was carried out in 162 school children (male 99,female 63). 2.The value expressed herein is the result of the level deduced from per square meter of each individual body surface. The overal lmean was 74. 6 mg/m2/24 hrs. in both sexes； the value was 62. 8 mg/m2/24 hrs in male and 93. 3 mg/m2/24 hrs in female, the former being lower than the latter. 3. Significant difference is noted between male and female in urinary hydroxyproline level per square meter for all ages. 4. The brief review of literature was done.
