A case is presented of a 15-year old girl with clinical and laboratory findings Strongly
suggestive of poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis but without abnormalities in the urine.
Repeated examinations of the urine demonstrated absence of proteinuuria and hematuria
throughout a nineteen-day hospital course.
Her renal biopsy specimen revealed small scattered intramembranous, subendothelial and
mesangial deposits in. immunofluorescence and electron microscopy, but essentially normal
