A 14 year old girl was admitted because of severe obesity, respiratory difficulty and weakness of legs with edema. Diagnosis of Cushing* s syndrome by left adrenal adenoma was made by hormonal assay, abdominal C-T and surgery. 1 week after adrenalectomy, she developed paraplegia which was caused by massive deposition of fat in the spinal epidural space and compression of thoracic spinal cord.
