Comparison of Efficacy of Various Oral - Hypoglycemic Agents on Diabetes Insipidus

The efficacy of three oral hypoglycemic agents, all sulfonylurea derivatives (Chlorpropamide, Tolbutamide and Tolazamide) were compared in the case of a 6-year-old girl suffering from diabetes insipidus. Chlorpromide was demonstrated to be the most effective, Tolbutamide slightly effective, and Tolazamide lacked antidiuretic action.
