Color Doppler Assessment of Mitral Regurgitation in Childhood.

Sensitivity and specificity of detection of Mitral Regurgitation (MR) was assessed by Color Doppler. The degree of MR was also estimated by the Regurgitant Jet Length and Maximum Regurgitant Jet Area/Left Atrial Area (Max. RJA/LAA)% and compared with that assessed by Left Ventriculography.
