| Abstract |
|
A clinical statistical observation was made on 177 cases: of premature infants and 92 cases of
low birth weight infants during January I, 1968 to July, 1973.
The results wereas follows;
1. Incidence of prematurity was 4.1% and low birth weight infants was 2.1%.
2. The sexual incidence was more higher in boys than in girls. (1.7 : 1)
3. Monthly incidence was more higherjin summer season and most o£ cases were between 28
to 37 weeks of gestational age and more higehr incidence in primipara than multipara.
4. The frequency distribution of blood groups were somewhat higher in A. and B. blood group
in prematurity and low birth weight infants and it is more remarkable in prematurity
