Abstract
We reviewed 273 newborns, who delivered by Cesarian-section with general anesthesia, for judging the prog nosis of newborns by Apgar scoring system, survival rate by resuscitation and morbidity in neonatal period with comparing of 300 newborns who d elivered by normal vaginal route with general anesthesia. 1.All newborns conditions are judged by Apgar scoring system at 1 minutes and 5 minutes. Apgar scores are lower in Cesarian-sectioned newborn than vaginal delivered ones. 2. 17% of 273 Cesarian-sectioned newborns are necessitated of neonatal resuscitation and 7. Z% in vaginal delivered ones. Neonatal resuscitation is needed more in Cesarian sectioned newborn than vaginal delivered ones. 3.Neonatal deaths after resuscitation are 1. 8% in Cesarian-sectioned newborns and none in vaginal delivered ones. Mortality rate is higher in sectioned babies than in vaginal delivered ones. 4.Morbidity in neonatal period is slightly higher in Cesarian-sectioned newborns than in vaginal delivered ones.
