| Abstract |
|
This is a case report of the congenital ileal atresia. The patient was a 5 days old male newborn infant who entered at department of psdiatricss, St. Paul's hospital with the complained of frequent vomiting, abdominal distension and failure to defecation from the second day after birth. The diagnosis was established by characteristic clinical features and barium enema. Finally diagnosis was conformed by operation. He was discharged 12 days after operation with favorable condition. A brief review of related litrature was also presented.
