| Abstract |
|
This is studies of maternal prenatal anemia on the 2, 059 new-born baby ddivwed at Kwangju P.M.C. from January 1971 to July, 1972, of which, 410 were anemic mother, (Hemoglobin concentration below 10gm.%), 164 were anemic new-born baby (Hemoglobin concentration below 16gm.% within 24 hours after birth). Birth weight tended to be lower with decreasing maternal prenatal hemoglobin level. But there was no relation between maternal hemoglobin level and baby’s hemoglobin level.
