Distribution of eosinophiles were 6〜15% in eosinophilia cases and mean percentage of eosinophile was 1. 2% in in-patients excluding the eosinophilia cases. The etiological classification of the diseases associated with eosinophilia were variable but the outstanding causes was parasitic infestations(41.8%), allergic diseases(5. 3%) and 52. 9% of all cases of eosinophilia was unknown. Eosinophilia associated with parasitic infestation was of higher incidence at World Vision Children’s Hospital(51. 6%) than at Severance Hospital(27. 3%).
