Abstract |
Hypereosinophilic syndrome is a state of severe eosinophilia of unknown cause accomanied by
multiple organ-system involvement. The criteria of hypereosinophilic syndrome includes.
(1) A persistent eosinophil count of more than 1.5 X 10 9 /L for associated with the signs and symptoms of hypereosinohilic disease; (2) a lack of evidence for parasite, allergic, or other known causes
of eosinophila; (3) presumptive signs and symptoms or organ involvement.
In this report, we present one case of hypereosinophilic syndrome in a 3-year-old boy who com-
plainded of infermittent high fever. |
