The most frequent age group was early childhood (55.4%) and more frequent in male. The symptoms were fever, vomiting and headache in order of frequency. The finding of spinal fluid showed that cells were increased in all cases, and protein and sugar were mostly within normal limit. The frequeny of aseptic meningitis had begun to increase from March and had occured 80.4 percentage from April to July and abruptly decreased in August. The hand-foot-mouth disease occured at the same duration had begun to increase from March and had occured 39cases (82.9%) from April to June and it had abruptly decreased in July.
