Abstract
Among the various causes of the left ventricular outflow tract obstruction, endocardial remnant tissue is the least common. A case of a subaortic endocardial remnant tissue is presented. The abnormality was detected in an asymptomatic patient by systolic murmur and was demonstrated by 2-D echocardiograpy and surgery. This structure is attached to mitral anterior leaflet and its microscopic finding was fibromyxomatous valvular tissue. The aim presenting this cases and reviewing the literature is to bring attention to this rare anormaly.
