| Abstract |
|
Levels of glutamine and total amino acids in cerebrospinal fluid increased in comatous encephalitis patient compared with normal children. However, the increased levels returned to normal in the recovery stage.
The administration of hydrocortisone did not effect the amino acid pattern observed in encephalitis.
