Ectopic Ureter Entering the Vagina with Renal Hypoplasia

An unusual case of right ectopic ureter with renal hypoplasia was presented. The ectopic ureter drained into the vagina showed marked stenosis with non-specific inflammation. The affected-side kidney revealed cystic, chronic glomerulonephritis and pyelonephritis. The abnormalities was suspected by IVP, cystoscopy and methylene blue dye test and was confirmed by operation. She was treated by ureteronephrectomy.

This is report of a newborn with pulmonary hypoplasia, associated with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, which is very rare. It is one of the emergency case of the neonatal period since the abdominal viscera in the pleural cavity cause severe cardiopulmoary embrassment. Congenital Intrinsic Duodenal Stenosis Producting Megaduodenum

A 25 days old newborn infant with megaduodenum owing to the congenital intrinsic web (diaphragm like partition) of the duodenum is presented. A brief review is described concerned on the incidence, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostic trials, prognosis and surgical treatment.
