Serum Pepsinogen Ⅰ, Ⅱ Levels and Upper Gastrointestinal Diseases in Children with H. pylori Infection

Purpose : In H. pylori infection serum pepsinogen Ⅰ/Ⅱ ratio decreases and pepsinogen Ⅱ level is increased. Increased serum pepsinogen Ⅱ level correlates with pathologic severity of gastritis.
