The authors experienced a case of congenital systemic cytomegalic inclusion disease in a newborn baby. This case showed the clinical features of low birt wight (2,200 gm), numerous petechiae, severe jaundice, hepatosplenomegaly, hypotonia and respiratory difficulty with cyanosis and Apgar score of 3 at 1 minute at birth.
